About the Event

Bhangra is a traditional Punjabi folk dance with its music originating from Punjab, India. Generally performed during the Vaisakhi festival that celebrates the harvest, bhangra is full of energetic and vivacious moves.
With the increasing popularity of Bhangra music, it is often remixed with western hip-hop, EDM or reggae, each workshop is full of unique flavor.
This workshop is high energy and suitable for active individuals.
The workshop will be from 10:30am - 12:30pm. The first hour and a half of the workshop will be focused on learning the dance routine and the remaining will be focused on performance and recording.
The last part of the class will be recorded by a hired professional videographer where you can take the footage to watch or share on your social media.
